Learning how to build profitable sales funnels first begins with a common understanding and frequently used marketing terms. While the entire industry seems to be complicated and full of technical terms, you'll realize that it's very easy to grasp once you master the fundamentals.

And because I want to make everything at Income Mesh extremely beginner friendly, I've decided to compile a complete roundup of all the most important terms and definitions that you'll likely come across as you develop as a marketer.

While you might be able to simply google a definition here and there, I've gone the extra mile and linked to relavent blog posts, training courses, and other resources to help you dig in and further your education.

Affiliate marketing is a business model where you can promote other company's products, and be rewarded with affiliate commissions when people click on your link and become customers of the product.

This is an excellent and scalable form of passive income.

Evergreen Funnels

Unlike Launches, evergreen funnels are sales processes that are designed to work at all times. These generally include driving traffic to a lead magnet, building relationships through video marketing, video sales letters, webinars, or email sequences, and making special, time-sensitive offers to your subscribers when they are ready to convert into customers.

Front-End Offers

Within a business's value ladder, you are likely to find low-priced products, as well as high-ticket offers.

Front-end offers make up the lower steps of the ladder, generally costing between $1 and $97 (depending on the industry), and allow the business to offer great amounts of value before building up a ton of trust with their prospects.

The goal of the front-end offer is to initiate a Break Even Funnel where the business is able to generate leads & customers without losing money on advertising costs.

GrooveFunnels

One of the many funnel-building platforms on the market. I have personally tested Groove Funnels... and I'm not a fan - I would advise everyone stay away from this platform.

Influencersoft

Influencersoft is a new funnel-building platform to hit the market. It's standout feature is the ability to visually see the flow of your sales funnel on a canvas - drag and drop.

Overall I'm a fan of the platform, but because it is an all-in-one platform, it suffers from the standard problem: Jack of all trades, master of none.

But if you want something simple - it's a decent platform to consider.
